We are proud to offer a unique alternative to traditional nursing facilities by creating a care experience built around compassion, respect, and individualized support. Our Story
A Vision Created by a Nurse—and Built by Family
Halina’s Home Care was founded on the sole principal idea of a residential home care setting. Our founder, Halina Migo, RN, spent years observing the nursing care options available to the aging population and recognized a growing need for an alternative—something more personal, more private, and more home-like.
With a deep passion for elderly care and a commitment to doing things differently, Halina established Halina’s Home Care over 28 years ago in St. Charles, Illinois. At the time, it was the first of its kind in Kane County, offering a private-duty senior care model in a group home environment.
As the need for residential care expanded, Halina and her son Dan began growing the concept into multiple locations. Today, Halina’s Home Care has expanded into four locations serving the Fox Valley community and beyond, providing dependable support for seniors and individuals with disabilities in a comfortable, welcoming home setting.
